Who we are
NiceWash (Nice Wash Mobile Car Wash) is a mobile car wash based in Doha, Qatar. This policy covers our website nicewashqatar.com, the Nice Wash app and our WhatsApp service.
We handle your personal information in line with Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to wash your car:
- Your contact details: your WhatsApp or phone number and your name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we also get the name and email address they share with us (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real one).
- Your car: plate number, make, model and colour.
- Where to wash: the address you type and, if you allow it, the pin you place on the map. We only use your phone's location while you are choosing the spot, never in the background.
- Your bookings: date and time, the service you chose, the price, any notes you add, and whether the wash is done.
- Photos of your car: our team photographs your car before and after each wash, as proof of the work.
- Payments: what you paid, how (cash, card or payment link) and when. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: the WhatsApp messages you send us, and the delivery and read receipts of the messages we send you.
- Language: whether you prefer Arabic or English.
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It only remembers your language choice in your browser. The booking form on the website stores nothing: it opens WhatsApp with your booking written out, and you decide whether to send it.
How we use it
- To book, carry out and confirm your wash, and to find your car.
- To send you your receipt with before and after photos, and reminders and updates about your booking on WhatsApp.
- To keep track of payments, packages and loyalty washes.
- To answer your questions and fix any problem with a wash.
- To keep our service safe and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run NiceWash, and only what each one needs:
- Our wash team: the address, car details and booking time of the wash they are doing.
- Supabase: stores our database and photos.
- Vercel: hosts our website.
- Meta (WhatsApp): sends and receives our WhatsApp messages.
- Apple and Google: only if you choose to sign in with them, and to show the map in the app.
- Payment providers: when you pay by card or payment link.
- Authorities: only when the law requires it.
Where and how long we keep it
Our database runs on secure Supabase servers outside Qatar (in India). Your information is encrypted while it travels, and only the team members who need it for their work can see it.
We keep your information while you have an account with us. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to:
- Show you the information we hold about you, or give you a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and your information.
- Stop WhatsApp messages that are not about a booking.
Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@nicewashqatar.com. We reply as quickly as we can, and within 30 days at the latest.
Children
NiceWash is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If the change is important, we tell you in the app or on WhatsApp.
